2nd day of Adventures

So, naturally you can't go on a trip in a car thats older than you and not expect to be stuck on the side of the road at least once

At some point on our journey our gas gauge stopped working.

And of course we forgot to fill it up after a whole day of driving. silly us.

Luckily I had some comic relief while Chuck got us some fuel.

 Lainey didn't seem to mind our situation

"Hey Chuck, Smile!"

Charles does not share my love for adventures.

We made it to the beach!!

First stop: Pedro's tacos on a picnic table. yummmm

These guys take beach-going very seriously.

They're pretty hard-core

Lainey wasn't so sure about the waves

 "That big wafe not me ohfer"

She preferred to hold a hand

 And bury herself in the sand

This one also thoroughly enjoyed the sand

This is my Aunt Bethany.

I love her.

 I'm so glad my kids get the opportunity to love her too.

 Chuck lasted about... three minutes on the beach.

He had that look like he was trying so hard to have fun but he really wanted to be somewhere else. like the pier.
